Join Lee this November as he guides you on another stunning route — this time celebrating the vibrant colours of Autumn across Cannock Chase.

This picturesque woodland walk is all about slowing down, connecting with nature, and soaking in the changing season’s beauty.

Expect crisp air, golden leaves, and the gentle rustle of the forest as you explore one of Staffordshire’s most scenic landscapes.

What to bring

To help you get the most out of your day – whatever the weather – please come prepared. Here’s an idea of what to bring:

  • Walking boots or suitable sturdy shoes
  • Quick-drying trousers or leggings (not jeans)
  • Layers: base layer, fleece/mid-layer, and waterproof coat
  • Hat and gloves
  • Personal medications (e.g. inhaler)
  • Around 1 litre of water or a cold drink
  • A small, leakproof flask of tea or coffee for the rest stop
  • Snacks or sweets for an energy boost
  • Binoculars if you have them (wildlife sightings are possible)
  • Fully charged mobile phone and emergency contact details
  • A small backpack to carry your essentials comfortably
  • Hiking pole for added support (optional)
