A truly rewarding experience

Volunteering at Walk Talk Action plays an essential role in our aim to support people with their mental health.

We want to get more people outside, help them develop new coping techniques and help them achieve their goals.

Volunteers play an essential role in making those things happen.

We want all of our volunteers to feel fulfilled in their roles and have a rewarding and positive experience.

As part of our commitment to you, we will endeavour to find training opportunities to help further develop your own personal skills.

Fun volunteering opportunities

Looking for a fun volunteering opportunity in Stoke-on-Trent? Walk Talk Action is always looking for a helping hand.

As well as being a rewarding experience, volunteering at WTA can also be lots of fun.

That’s because you’ll be around like-minded people who always have a smile on their face. People who want to make a difference in their local community.

Our retreat in Fenpark is a gift to us and we want to create a wilderness area for people to enjoy.

The retreat will have sensory spots where our participants can enlighten their senses. They can smell the different flowers and herbs, and take in the stunning scenic views.

We also have an interactive walking route, exclusively for WTA participants and volunteers. This incorporates ‘The Five Ways to Wellbeing’ and encourages positivity.

We welcome all our volunteers to help us with this project.

Walk Talk action works closely with Voluntary Action Stoke-on-Trent (VAST) to create fun and meaningful volunteering opportunities.

As you can see from the photos, it’s always a fun and relaxed environment at WTA.
