veteran support network

Our Retreat in Fenton Fields has had a much-needed makeover thanks to the hard work and generosity of the Veterans Support Network…

We’re delighted to share that the Walk Talk Action Retreat in Fenton Fields has been given a brand-new roof, thanks to the amazing support of the Veterans Support Network (VSN).

Their team of volunteers have worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Not just with the roofing repairs, but also with jobs like cutting the grass and clearing pathways. Thus, ensuring our Retreat remains a safe and welcoming space for all who visit.

The Retreat is a special place for Walk Talk Action. After being gifted to us, it has become a home for our community. It’s somewhere people can come together, share experiences, take part in workshops, join our walks, and connect through our 10-Step Programme.

A heartfelt thank you

This achievement is another reminder that Walk Talk Action is built on kindness, collaboration, and the dedication of so many people.

Alongside our Directors, facilitators, walk leaders, supervisors, wellbeing coaches, volunteers, and supporters, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who makes our work possible.

Together, we continue to grow stronger and provide support to those who need it most.
