At Walk Talk Action, our mission is to support people in making positive changes for their mental and physical wellbeing. That’s why we’re excited to share a fantastic opportunity that aligns perfectly with what we do: Keele University’s free 4-week Wellbeing Workshop…
This workshop is designed to help people reflect on their personal habits, set achievable goals, and improve their overall wellbeing.
Hence, we believe it will be a great fit for the people we support here at WTA. Essentially, anyone looking to get back to a better state of mind and take positive steps forward.
Combining learning, discussion and activity
The course runs for four consecutive weeks, starting on 11th March 2026. It will be held in the Virtual Studio in the Sport Centre at Keele University.
Here’s what each session includes:

Discussion on the foundations of health and wellbeing
Followed by a strength & balance training circuit class
- Week 2 – Why is Activity Important?
Explore the benefits of physical activity on mind and body
Participate in a campus walk, talk, and litter pick
- Week 3 – Stress Management

Join a stretch and flexibility circuit class
- Week 4 – Group Discussions: Changes for the Future

Learning together
As you may be aware, Keele University placement students work alongside participants of Walk Talk Action’s 10-Step Programme.
This partnership gives students hands-on experience in understanding the challenges our participants face, while supporting them on their journey back to a better state of mind.
It’s a wonderful collaboration that benefits everyone. Participants gain guidance and encouragement, and students gain insight into mental and physical wellbeing in real-life settings.
