A journey of resilience and triumph

Teri’s journey to the UWCB event has been nothing short of inspiring.

Having faced significant mental health challenges, including PTSD, anxiety, postnatal depression, breakdown, isolation, psychosis, and homelessness, Teri has transformed her personal struggles into a mission to help others.

Through Walk Talk Action, she provides essential support and resources to individuals battling similar issues.

The event and victory

Over the past 8 weeks, Teri has undergone rigorous training to prepare for her debut in the boxing ring.

Her dedication and perseverance paid off spectacularly as she claimed victory in the first round of her bout.

This win is not just a personal achievement but also a powerful symbol of overcoming adversity and fighting for mental health awareness.
